The Boys & Girls Club of the Kenai Peninsula is currently seeking a Athletics assistant with a passion for sports!

The Athletics assistant supports and assists in the planning, set-up, and implementation of athletic programs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

~Preparation of equipment and materials for distribution to coaches.
~Refereeing games if necessary.
~Assistance in seeking program sponsorships.
~Answering questions regarding athletic programs.
~Assistance in advertising and marketing.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

~HS diploma or GED.
~Working knowledge of a variety of sports.
~Experience in sports and or a child development related field.
~Strong interpersonal skills in order to maintain a working relationship with volunteers, coaches, referees, Club staff and parents.
~ Candidates will be required to demonstrate the ability to handle stressful and volatile situations in a professional manner.

Hours and duties will vary throughout the year, depending on what programs are currently in session.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
