Job Summary:


The Applicant will be working with gateway supervisors in a fast paced, high pressure, and constantly changing environment. Must be able to adapt well to changes and be able to make decisions that will affect the operation hours in advance. Must be able to perform multiple tasks at the same time.


Must complete FAA Certified training for all UPS aircraft and submit to random drug and alcohol testing.

Occasional outside workstation for DWB required.


Duties & Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:


  • Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate
  • Report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Bend, stoop/squat, crouch/kneel, climb stairs and walk intermittently throughout the workday
  • Perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, computer keyboarding, filing, calculating and use of telephone
  • See, hear and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions
  • Work cooperatively in a diverse work environment
  • Demonstrate cognitive ability to: follow directions and routines, work independently with appropriate judgment, exhibit spatial awareness, read words and numbers, concentrate, memorize, and recall, identify logical connections and determine sequence of response, process up to 2-3 steps ahead
  • Perform other functions that may be assigned


  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound aircraft activity. Communicate with all internal and external departments such as aircraft maintenance, cargo, hub, flight control, agriculture, customs, and various vendors.


  • Load plans and performs DWB calculations on assigned flights and communicates all changes and updates to supervisors. Predict all flight information into compass.
  • Assist supervisors with any contingencies and communicate details to affected departments.
  • Verify person's jump seating on aircraft complies with all company, FAA, and TSA regulations.
  • Able to work on Holidays and WEEKENDS and have flexibility with their schedule.
  • Extended hours may be required as operational needs dictate.
  • Report to work on a regular and timely basis.
  • Communication between SDF, other centers, and America's Region countries.
  • Work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
  • Verify that all compass and TFCS predictions are correct and complete.
  • Compile and audit all Daily, Weekly, Monthly reports.
  • Perform other functions that may be assigned.


Education or Equivalent Experience


  • High School Diploma
  • College/Technical degree preferred or equivalent


Requirements:


  • Must be proficient Microsoft Suite applications
  • Must be able to type 45 wpm
  • Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Good analytical skills
