Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00/Hr.
Job Summary: Old Tucson Entertainment Attraction Attendants do more than just operate a ride. Attendants also, as the situation warrants, collect tickets or explain safety procedures to riders. Attendants may also need to dress in character and entice visitors to come aboard a ride. Attraction Attendants must be one part customer service person, one-part salesperson, with a little bit of entertainment thrown in. If you like the idea of helping patrons have enjoyable and exciting days outside at a park, becoming an Attraction Attendant is the ideal way to become part of that magic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on ride.
• Maintain a clean and safe space in and around ride.
• Collect tickets and operate ride.
• Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all ride passengers.
• May need to supply on-board narration.
• My need to dress for the part.
• Advise riders to fasted seat belts and inform about other safety precautions.
• Control devices to start and stop within the allotted time.
• Clean, refuel and maintain the riding devices.
• Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and report unsafe conditions to Manager promptly.
• Respond to emergency situations effectively and report any collisions and accidents to Manager in a timely manner.

Education, Skill and Work Experience Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED Certificate.
• Good communication skills.
• Be tactful and diplomatic.
• Customer service experience.
• Knowledge of general safety procedures.
• Knowledge of the attraction and local area.
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response courses are recommended.

Work Environment:

• Ability to pull, push, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays (Required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
