JOB OVERVIEW: ​

AREA15 is looking for an experienced, full-time Attractions Lead to oversee and coordinate the daily operations and maintenance of our amusement activations. The Attractions Lead will be responsible for the daily operations of AREA15 amusements including completing daily safety checks, maintaining high level knowledge of attractions and procedures, completing attraction maintenance duties and managing daily amusement staff. Ideal candidate will ensure safe operations of equipment while guaranteeing an exceptional visitor experience. The selected candidate will supervise staff across various shifts and be responsible for the ongoing preventative maintenance of the attractions.​

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: ​

​

• Oversee the efficient application of the safety regulations and conduct risk assessments needed to ensure a safe environment to visitors and staff.​

• Assist in performing daily, monthly and annual maintenance procedures to ensure continued safe operation of attractions.​

• Train staff for operation of attractions ensuring a thorough understanding of the operations and safety requirements of units.​

• Prepare daily staff rotations and delegate tasks.​

• Maintain knowledge of attractions including operational procedures, remedies to mechanical and computer faults, and emergency procedures.​

• Ensure activation ticketing is running smoothly, making capacity adjustments on the fly, when needed.​

• Motivate staff and serve as an ambassador for the AREA15 brand.​

QUALIFICATIONS​

• Previous experience in an amusement park type setting required.​

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred​

• The ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.​

• General knowledge of maintenance of mechanical devices and the tools needed to carry out those tasks.​

• Able to provide lift certification for both boom and scissor lifts within 30 days of employment.​

• Ability to work at heights of up to 140ft.​

• General knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and fall protection.​

• Ability to stand and walk for majority of shift.​

• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends, nights and holiday.​

• Able to work in dark environments that features fog and strobe lighting effects that may be harmful to people with photo sensitivities. ​
