Automation Electrician

Responsibilities:

· Safe work practices

· Troubleshoot problems with automation systems including controls, instrumentation, PLC’s, network switches, VFD’s and AC motors.

· Independently developing solutions for automation engineering projects. This role requires an individual who is passionate about process control systems, networking, and instrumentation with a desire to enhance their skills.

· Planning, developing, and coordinating automation tasks on small, medium and large projects with complex automation features.

· Investigates, trouble-shoots, and provides solutions to production problems.

· Works with other departments to coordinate activities of individual departments.

· Monitor departmental operations through production reports, observation, and personal contact to ensure coordination and integration of workflow, timely production, equipment, and facilities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in a specialty field such as automation engineering and/or electrical engineering.

· Strong emphasis on automation (PLCs) preferred.

· Computer skills including Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

· Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.

· Able to work within a team.

Able to work in rotating shift, nights and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 - $83,200.00 per year
