Responsibilities and Duties

• MUST HAVE TOWING OR TRAILERING EXPERIENCE - BOATS, LAWN CARE EQUIPMENT, PROFESSIONAL TOWING, PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
• Operate prototype-level Autonomous Vehicles on both defined and undefined routes, including a variety of geographic and environmental conditions.
• Operate in-vehicle data recording computers, including start/stop recording, data marking and minor debugging when issues arise.
• Provide clear, accurate and useful subjective feedback to the engineering teams on vehicle behavior observed.
• Ensure the safe operation of our test vehicles on public roads.
• The position requires some travel initially for training and calibration with other drivers.
• PAYRATE $18.00/HOUR
• MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL

Qualifications: (Must Haves)

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Chauffeurs License
• Current DOT med card
• Experience hauling trailers - commercial or recreational
• Able to pass drug and background screening
• Must have a clean driving history for the past 3 years MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL OUT OF STATE 8 - 12 WEEKS

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)

• Basic working knowledge of autonomous vehicle technology including data acquisition, ACC (adaptive cruise control), PEB (predictive emergency braking), Self-Driving Technology, AD/HAD, etc.
• Experience and training on providing subjective feedback on vehicle behaviors and environment
• Local knowledge of streets, geography and environmental features that may be challenging for autonomous vehicles, based on position posting location.'

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

• Troy, MI 48098: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Computer skills: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Chauffeur's Permit (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Required)
