Bardons & Oliver Machinist / Cutter Specialist

Position Title: Machinist (Bardons & Oliver) Cutter Specialist
Reports to: Plant Manger

Posting Summary

Key duties and responsibilities of the position will include the following:

· Must have 4+ years of cutting machine experience

· Operating knowledge of 4+ years setting up Bardons & Oliver cutters

· Must have tooling / maintenance knowledge on equipment

· Set up and operate single cut and double cut B & O equipment

· Responsible to meet production numbers / Producing to schedule

· Follows all written procedures of company

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Current ability to set up and operate Bardons & Oliver equipment

· Minimum of four+ (4) years warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred

· Must have 4+ years of steel cutting experience

· Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other related measurement equipment

· Computer literacy necessary

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

· Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb and/or stoop

· Ability to keep cutting team up with facilities production pace for entire 8-hour shift

· Experience in a high-volume work environment a plus

Additional Details

· Majority of work is 1st shift but have to be open to all three shifts

· Have reliable transportation

· Position is due to company growth

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
