Position Overview
This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job. Supervisors may assign additional responsibilities and the responsibilities may change as the needs of the business change.

Responsibilities:

1. Setup Espresso machine (Refer to Bar manual)
2. Setup the grinders and fill with coffee beans.
3. Check the drip and adjust espresso levels throughout the shift.
4. Test double shot for 27 to 30 seconds extraction.
5. If the main bar man is a trainer please follow up the Main bar training procedures (Refer to Bar manual)
6. Responsible for checking the temperature of all refrigerators in the bar area.
7. Responsible for the whole back area, Health inspection and for the organization and stocking of milks and lemonades in the refrigerators.
8. Make perfect coffee drinks for the entire shift.
9. Responsible for ALL beverages quality and design for entire shift.
10. Watch timers and make sure that nothing is over brewed including teas.
11. Keep tickets for pending additional drinks for later.
12. Rinse espresso machine heads every half an hour.
13. Check for chipped mugs, cups, glasses and dirty utensils.
14. Responsible for weekly small ware inventory with managers.
Closing PM:
15. Wash the espresso machine thoroughly and take apart and clean the grinders (Refer to bar manual).
16. Purocaff in hot water brew basket and spray head for 10 minutes. Wipe down brewer, especially around spray head area.
17. Clean the bar area, counters and under counters.
18. Stock the cups and lids for the bar area.
19. Check with manager every day and throughout your shift for ANY additional duties needed

for your shift. “These duties could change on any day”.

General and Safety:

1. Use safety belt and safety shoes at all times.
2. Use hand truck to move or lift anything over 15 lbs.
3. Must perform physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate strength including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking and handling of materials. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

4. The position requires lifting of 25 lbs. anything over 25 lbs. assistance will be given to you.
5. Watch for wet floors and spillage, put signs and dry immediately.
6. CLEAN AS YOU GO! Watch for food, debris and objects on the floor.

7. The position requires the employee to be friendly and courteous.
8. Our Guests always come first!

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift 25/pounds regularly & un-assisted
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to safely climb ladders
• The ability to work in cold temperatures
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• The ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, stooping, balancing, reaching, pushing

Pay Range: (Pay ranges applicable to CA locations only)

• Hourly
• $19.00 Minimum - $20.00 Maximum
