Tommy's Tavern + Tap Team Members are enthusiastic, engaging and guest driven to provide an excellent, memorable + hospitable experience for all Guests. Candidates should be team players, able to work in a fast-paced environment and should always have a positive high-energy attitude.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant Guests to spec
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check Guests' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Must be friendly, happy, upbeat, outgoing, and positive
- Observant and responsive, alert to Guests' needs
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a Team
- Engage with guests, efficiently take orders, and serve food + drink
- Providing menu recommendations and additional information pertaining to the menu
- Remain calm and professional while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness + availability to learn + train prior to going on the floor
- Protect establishment and Guests by adhering to sanitation, safety + alcohol beverage control policies
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of previous bartending experience working in full-service, high-volume restaurant
- People + communication skills
- Passion + work ethic for the restaurant industry
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for an extended period
- Continuous use of hands, arms, bending, reaching, and twisting
- Ability to carry 35 pounds as needed
- Ability to carry trays as needed
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work in a Team setting
