Baywood Greens Golf Course is currently seeking a Lead Irrigation Technician to join our team. Located just minutes from Rehoboth and Dewey Beach, Baywood is a great place to work during the day and enjoy the local beach towns after hours. This position will be responsible for maintaining our Hunter irrigation system on the golf course. Experience with golf course or residential irrigation repair is preferred but not required. We have a robust training program regardless of experience.

Beginning in the winter of 2022/23, we will be upgrading our golf course irrigation to a Toro Smart Satellite System, along with installing Toro Infinity heads throughout the property. This position will be highly compensated depending on prior experience. Full time year-round is preferred but will consider part time. While this is a very demanding position, we try to keep it as relaxed and flexible as possible.

Pay Rate: Based on experience and highly competitive.

Hours of Employment:

• Full time hours preferred but will consider part time applicants.

Job Requirement:

• Motivated individual with the ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to troubleshoot minor irrigation electrical issues.
• Physical ability to dig up and repair irrigation breaks
• Physical ability to operate small-powered equipment and hand tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair sprinklers, valves, pipe, and electrical contents.
• Schedule irrigation run times to promote adequate moisture throughout the property.
• Perform minor irrigation installs.
• Perform general maintenance tasks on the property as needed.
