Behavior Technician
Come support positive change in the lives of individuals and their families as a Behavior Technician at Cincinnati Center for Autism.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related disorders
- Implement treatment plans to support acquisition of social, communication, academic, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and team to design effective behavior intervention plans
- Implement behavior plans as written
- Take behavior and skill acquisition data daily/graph data daily
- Share data with team weekly
- Communicate professionally and openly with team to support best outcome for all students
- Write progress reports quarterly
- Use Safe Crisis Management (SCM) techniques when required
- Participate in on-going training opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
Candidates Must:
- Have earned a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or be working toward a Bachelor’s Degree
- Have experience and some level of comfort working with individuals who may exhibit aggressive, disruptive, and/or self-injurious behavior.
- Be motivated to learn from a team of experienced professionals
