Description:
We currently have openings for Full-time or Part-time Behavioral Health Associates to join our team of caring professionals.
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time working an 8 hours shift per day, with an option of Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday.
Part-time option- Saturday and Sunday only; 7a-7p or 7p-7a; 12 hour shifts.
Salary: $16.50-23.25/hr
Responsibilities:
- Assist patient with their daily living activities and administer basic health care or treatments.
- Participate in therapeutic or recreational group activities with patient.
- Help with admitting and discharging patient.
- Monitor physical and emotional well-being of patient and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff.
- Teach strategies to promote client wellness and independence.
- Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.
- Observe and influence the behavior of the patient.
- Assist with personal hygiene and in achieving and maintaining care goals.
- Comply with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintain organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.
Other Functions:
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
HS diploma/ GED required
Associates degree or better in human service field from an accredited college or university preferred with one year experience in human services field.
Must be 21 years and older.
Licenses/Designations/Certifications:
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
