Lead Clinician, Behavioral Health

CaroMont Medical Group, an affiliate of CaroMont Health, is offering a Full-Time opportunity for an experienced clinical therapist. This is an employed position with our Behavioral Health Service Line in Gaston County, North Carolina.

Job description for the Lead Clinician role is as follows:

• Serves as the lead clinician amongst a diverse group of Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LMHPs) in the Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL).
• The Lead Clinician will be a facilitator for all LMHPs who will work closely with the Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL) leadership team to further the goals of the organization.
• Will report directly to the BHSL Physician Administrator.
• Positively impact the overall culture of our service line through an exemplary work ethic and embracing our CARES values.
• Facilitate communication between the clinical staff and leadership to help ensure the dissemination of information and representation of ideas, needs, and contributions of therapists across the BHSL.
• Actively engage in organizational and community relationships to bring new programs and knowledge to CaroMont by seeking out and becoming educated in other curricula, programs, methods, and philosophies within the mental health field.
• Assist in onboarding new providers, providing mentoring and familiarizing them with clinic operations.
• Develop training curriculum, in conjunction with BHSL leadership, for clinical interns (LCSW-A, Psychology interns, LCMHC interns, etc.)
• Participate in site visits and round with the Physician Administrator and/or Senior Director on a quarterly or annual basis as necessary.

Job qualifications for the Lead PMHNP role are as follows:

• Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP). This designation includes but is not limited to a licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, or licensed clinical mental health counselor.
• Progressive clinical leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
• Must have experience leading teams or groups with diverse credentials.
