BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

This individual provides professional local support to establish, maintain, and develop relationships with individuals impacted by substance use and mental health disorders. This includes, but is not limited to individuals in active addiction, struggling with mental health needs, their families, support team, and referents. This individual will work to identify new business opportunities within an assigned territory and will also operate within all facets of the treatment experience for a client, their support team and any and referral sources

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with individuals as a treatment navigator to provide seamless transition to care
  • Establish, maintain and develop relationships with referents in assigned territories
  • Demonstrate knowledge/adherence to state and federal confidentiality regulations
  • Conduct community-based presentations to highlight services and drive business development
  • Compile competitive data and analyze within assigned geographical region
  • Attend substance abuse and behavioral health industry-related trade shows as assigned
  • Take an active/collaborative role as a member of the team
  • Act as a liaison between program staff and referents
  • Submit timely CRM data, expense reports, annual strategic plans and quarterly strategic plan updates
  • Participate in/complete required training
  • Attend/participate in all marketing meetings and calls
  • Meet/exceed established targeted goals
  • Continuously work with supervisor to enhance region
  • Provide weekly schedule to supervisor

Education & Experience:

  • 2+ years' experience in sales, marketing, and/or community relations
  • 3+ years' clinical experience related to substance use and mental health disorders
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
  • Exemplary customer service/sales skills
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
  • Willingness to be flexible in adjusting to new and changing situations
  • Demonstrates a strong desire to help clients, families and all referents in the transition to treatment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
