Overland Park Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is actively seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work for our skilled nursing community in Overland Park KS.

Duties of Behavioral Health CNA:

• Assisting residents with their care needs
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Setting up meal trays
• Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds and keeping the resident's space clean and tidy
• Transporting residents within the facility
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data
• Collect, record, and report data on client progress making specific instructional changes according to established guidelines and complete informal evaluations as required.
• Provide patient assistance including deescalating volatile situations and alert team members to any areas of concern.
• Assist with the search, inventory, storage, and return of patient property.
• May serve as a member of the crisis response team and participate in situational debriefs as required.
• May assist in the planning and implementation of individualized behavior support plans.

Requirements of Behavioral Health CNA:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Current KS State certification
• Must be in good standing with State registry
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
• Must be able to do 12 hour shifts
