Range for this position is negotiable, with a typical range of $20 to $25 per hour:
Maxim Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring for a Behavior Technician role. As a Behavior Technician, you will work to provide educational and behavioral services to children and adults with special needs. This role requires collaboration with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients
- Implement ABA related teaching strategies
- Provide crisis intervention and behavior support services
- Review and implement behavior intervention plans and behavioral goals
- Document sessions per policies and procedures and collect data accurately
- Adhere to confidentiality requirements
- Assist students in the development of independent skills
- Implement behavior management techniques under the direction of the supervising teacher
- Other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Registered or Certified BTs require Board or State Certification/Licensure (as applicable per state and/or client requirements)
- Two (2) years relevant experience preferred
- Current CPR certification and PPD or Chest X-Ray (as applicable per state and/or client requirement)
- Strong communication and computer skills
