Healthcomp is hiring a Benefits Eligibility Administrator who will work closely with new and existing clients and our claims team by providing new hire packets, plan information and ID cards to confirm benefit eligibility and coverage. This is the perfect role for someone who is highly organized and has at least 1 year of experience in a high-volume administrative role. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Update eligibility record based on enrollment, change, and term information which is submitted by the plan sponsor
  • Send individual participants new hire packets, ID Cards, or COBRA certificates
  • Enroll, track payments, audit, terminate, and assist COBRA participants
  • Enter Flex benefit enrollments
  • Review daily IT reports and run reports for various insurance providers
  • Contact networks for new logos to update ID cards
  • Keep track of required materials – envelopes, ID Cards, etc.
  • Assist plan sponsors and individual participants by phone to verify, correct, or update info and send new plan materials, if needed
  • Setup ID cards
  • Review returned mail and work to obtain correct addresses
  • Create and maintain client data sheets
  • Prepares annual Medicare and WHCRA notifications and distributes to clients
  • Prepare group mailings for plan sponsor for plan amendments, questionnaires, SBCs, ID Cards
  • Send Quarterly HRA/Flex reports and statements to appropriate parties
  • Complete COBRA delinquencies and send age reports on the 1st of every month

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ year in a high-volume administrative role
  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and deadline-driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interested in the health care and insurance industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
