About the Role:
Arbour Counseling Services is looking for a Full Time Biller to join our team in Worcester, MA! The Biller collaborates with Directors and Clinicians as needed. Arbour provides a warm, encouraging work environment and strives to offer compassionate and innovative care to all those we serve.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Handling billing & weekly reports
- Work with the Director of Billing and Department Executive Director on debt management
- Entering client information as well as closing out cases from our EMR
- Responsible for verifying insurance coverage and obtaining authorization of treatment from the client’s insurance pay sources as well as continuously checking to make sure clients have coverage throughout the course of their treatment

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in duties listed above
- Work directly with insurance, staff and management to resolve problem claims
- Bill mental health claims for various programs within the department
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
- Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test as well as other pre-employment documentation
- Candidate must provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination Card or appropriate religious / medical exemption. Card must possess at least either two Moderna Vaccinations, two Pfizer vaccinations, or a J&J vaccination
