Regular part-time opening, with excellent benefits, available in our Patient Registration & Accounts department. The Billing Specialist position will involve verifying insurance benefits, completing prior authorization requests and working with the claims team for denial management, as well as various billing functions. Collaboration, problem-solving, excellent customer service and willingness to lead is essential to the success of the Billing Specialist position.

Hours are 4 days per week. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience completing prior authorizations, preferably in a Critical Access Hospital or Provider-Based Rural Health Clinic setting, strongly preferred. The Billing Specialist must have Epic experience along with proficient computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with payors, clinical teams and the business office.
