Bookkeeper for CPA Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist customers in adjusting their books in QuickBooks, Sage 50 and BusinessWorks
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts to supporting documentation
  • Prepare property listings, 1099s, quarterly payroll reports and W-2s, and monthly and quarterly sales tax reports
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements
  • Assist with our tax return preparation process, including learning to prepare tax returns

Job Requirements:

  • 2 or 4 year degree in accounting and/or 3+ years bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills

Pay:

  • $55,000-68,000 (Based on experience)

Location:

  • Kernersville, NC

Shift days/Hours:

  • M – F (8 – 5). Busy season offers extra hours. Possibility of a 4 day workweek during non-busy seasons.

Benefits:
