Job Description:

Your job is to build booklets that will be used for training and in-person explanations/demonstrations. You will need to effectively apply design guidelines to all booklets so that they fit within the look and feel of the Shopwindow brand, and also be able to make information easy to understand for readers. Know how to write objectively and directly so that the information is easy to follow and unmistakable in its clarity. For walkthroughs of how to use the software, you’ll need to take screenshots of Shopwindow, place them into the booklet, then format that screenshot so that its on brand, and also be able to create visual keys for the reader.

*Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Adobe InDesign

• Experience with making training materials

*Skills

• Ability to clearly and thoroughly explain a topic while making the language user friendly/easy to understand.

• A good feel for pacing and visual balance–we don’t want to visually overload the reader or show too much information on one page.

• Ability to communicate with the Shopwindow team to ask for clarification, help, or assistance when needed.

• Know how to use visual aids such as keys and arrows to make information easier to understand and follow.
