Job Description
*

• Unpack shipments, organize and reconcile contents with the invoice
• Create a PO and use computer program to receive product into the store inventory
• Apply labels to products and readies it to be put on the floor
• Understand the store categories, and accurately assign products in them
• Report damages, overages or shortages to the vendor
• Return unsold books to vendors as allowed
• Help with yearly inventory
• Maintain a clean and orderly receiving room
• Process mark out of stock merchandise

Qualifications
*

• Experience with receiving is preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Accuracy with numbers and invoices
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Able to complete priorities given by the manager, take direction well, and be able to handle busy receiving seasons
• Be a team player with the bookstore staff
• Shifts are 9a-4p. 2-3 shift per week, monday-friday
