The Emelin Theatre for the Performing Arts, a 267 seat not for profit presenter in Mamaroneck, NY, seeks a part-time hourly Box Office Associate. The Emelin Theatre brings exciting and diverse performing arts to southern Westchester County, presenting emerging and established artists in all genres of music, comedy, dance, family theatre, and independent film. Candidates are organized and detail oriented, work smoothly under pressure, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include selling tickets through our Ticketing Software Spektrix, resolution of audience and ticketing issues calmly and efficiently, performing cashier duties at our concessions/bar, answer incoming customer service calls, and reconciling the cash register at the end of shift. Weekday, Evening and Weekend shifts available. Hours range from eight to twenty hours weekly. The hourly salary is $17.50 with a guaranteed four hour shift per appearance. For shifts as cashier, tips will be split between the bartender and cashier.
