Box Truck & Cargo Van Driver - Class C - Based in Fremont, CA
Job description
Evergreen IT Solutions is an IT hardware recycling provider that strives to protect the environment by properly recycling electronics under our R2V3 Responsible Recycling, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications. We are looking for an experienced Class C 24ft box truck driver to join our team and pickup at multiple customer sites throughout the Bay Area. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has a passion for delivering great customer service and who is hands-on, responsible, and consistent.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pickups and deliveries throughout the Bay Area driving a Class C 24-ft Truck and Cargo Van
- Meet delivery schedules (About 4 - 5 pick up locations daily at business parks, corporations, IT companies, healthcare, and educational facilities)
- Comply with safe truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures
- Palletize and shrink wrap computers, monitors, printers, and several misc hardware
- Utilize pallet jack to load and unload truck. The truck has a liftgate.
- Communicate with customers upon arrival for pick up or delivery
- Communicate with office admin and account managers to ensure a successful customer pick up and delivery order.
Skills
- Experience as a truck driver
- Valid CA Driver's License
- Fluent in English
