Building Associate (Part- Time/ On-Call)

Openings:
2 Building Associates - PT (Saturdays Only 8am-2pm; 2pm-8pm)
3 On- Call Building Associates (hours vary)
Potential shifts include 7am-3pm; 3pm-11pm; 11pm-7am; 12pm-8pm; 11am-6pm; 5pm-9pm
The ideal candidates for this role are persons who are friendly, professional and have exceptional customer service skills. Experience with Building Link and working in a property management environment a plus!
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Greeting residents, tenants, and guests. Answer incoming calls and forward as appropriate. Announce visitors to residents.
- Take messages for residents and place in mailbox. Accept service requests for extermination services. Make copies and send faxes for residents
- Respond to all requests in a courteous, professional manner always
- Communicate resident concerns to management office.
- Monitor security systems and cameras, conduct inspections of the property for vandalism, damage, and safety, and report any misconduct, incidents, and damages to property management for attention and repair.
- Secure all USPS and Courier packages, deliveries, and other appropriate items and deliver as needed. Notify residents of receipt of packages. Furnish cart service for guests and residents who have luggage or large packages Bring luggage to and from apartments if requested
- Manage and input maintenance requests and ensure they are passed to the appropriate manager. Immediately contact emergency maintenance personnel if an emergency maintenance situation develops.
- Provide incident reports to the management office. Log in all non-routine incidents that happen during the shift
- Maintain key cabinet. Sign in/out keys to trades people and others per Admit Slips left by residents and received by email. Sign in/out keys to residents for lock outs, storage rooms.
- Know emergency procedures and follow them. [Note: The Employee Handbook provides instructions to follow in case of emergencies related to medical, fire, police, elevators, gas, boiler light, etc. A list of what is considered unit and building emergencies is also posted at the front desk.]
Covid vaccination required.
