The Leonard Building Repair Technician provides exceptional quality repair of all Leonard Outdoor buildings onsite at the customer’s location. ?

The ideal Leonard Building Repair Technician will have familiarity with vinyl, metal and wood outdoor buildings, as well as prior experience in minor to major repairs of these buildings, including roofing, siding, skid replacement, blocking and levelling, etc. A strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills are essential for success.

Leonard provides a company vehicle, and all tools and equipment. In this position, you are a full-time employee of Leonard, so no personal overhead investments are needed.

What skills does the job require?

• 60-80% travel with provided overnight accommodations and per diem in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Prior experience with maneuvering a truck with a 20’ trailer in challenging outdoor environments (between trees, overhead wiring, etc)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Superior communication skills with customers and the Leonard home office
• Ability to work independently and outdoors in all climates
• Ability to understand, follow and complete all repair instructions and work orders
• Dependability and reliability
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, bending, lifting and twisting as needed to complete all jobs?

What will you be responsible for?

• Minor to major construction repair and maintenance upkeep of all components of vinyl, metal and wood outdoor buildings, including roofing, siding, flooring, trim, etc?
• Successful completion of all repair instructions and work orders
• Complete all warranty repairs to the customer’s satisfaction

• Knowledge of lot maintenance
• Blocking and levelling experience
