Job Overview
The credit union produces a lot of data in many different systems and we are looking for someone to lead a team in the formulation of hypotheses, translation of data, design/measurement of experiments, and generation of insights to inform business decisions by using various data mining techniques. The Business Analytics Manager uses data to perform more complex diagnostic analyses to provide answers to questions such as “Why did it happen?” and “What action can I take?”. Guiding a team and/or project using advanced reporting and execution of complex analyses, mapping out processes, and applying necessary controls, industry/benchmark data and strategic knowledge to identify and anticipate business needs and opportunities, proactively managing partners and solving multiple problems for the business. The Business Analytics Manager will partner with product owners, business lines, and channels to maximize their current product attributes, usage, marketing opportunities, and product performance. Leveraging knowledge of strategy, business, and competition to connect day-to-day work of a team to the “bigger picture”. This position will be responsible for building a Business Intelligence team. This position will interact with all levels and areas of the organization on a daily basis.

Role Description and Essential Duties:
Assumes responsibility for effectively managing and directing business intelligence and analytics.

• Coordinate the data administration technical function for both data warehouse development and maintenance.
• Establish and enforce processes to ensure a consistent, well-managed and well-integrated data warehouse infrastructure.
• Develop, sustain and leverage relationships within departments and functions to align workflows, create consistent approaches, and foster best practices to proactively seek opportunities to improve data quality.
• Provide analysis through data collection and mining.
• Create, test and distribute business intelligence solutions.
• Identify and drive process improvement by leveraging TFCU systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, IT solutions, and cross-functional projects.
• Ensures that systems and tools are utilized to optimize departmental structure and processes.
• Champion pricing improvement projects related to pricing strategies, pricing tools and software, price realization measurements and programs, price indexing and customer/market classifications.
• Act as subject matter expert in the implementation of new approaches, streamlining processes and creating efficiencies while identifying the optimal blend of measurement and analytic techniques.
• Implement processes, programs and procedures to ensure data is secure.
• Build scalable and reliable data integration solutions that are flexible and scalable.
• Builds and maintains the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines.
• Develop data ingestion and integrations (REST, SOAP, SFTP, MQ, etc.) processes.
• Develop high-performance scripts in SQL/Python, etc. to achieve objectives of enterprise data, BI and analytics need. Confirm the impact of changes and recommend changes using A/B testing methodology.
