Westmont Manor HRC is seeking a highly motivated, and experienced Full-Time Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our management team! The successful candidate for this position will have: • High school diploma/GED • Minimum one year skilled nursing facility business office experience • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing/collection procedures • Experience with electronic billing software • Knowledge of resident trust fund accounting • Accounts payable experience • Strong organizational skills • Strong work history • Commitment to team-oriented outcomes • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Must pass drug screening and background check Responsibilities: • Responsible for billing and payor sources and maintaining accurate and timely accounts receivable subsidiary ledgers • Responsible for collection of all receivables for all payor sources and benefits due residents including: a) maintaining accurate journals including cash receipts, b) the collection of past-due residents accounts, c) refunding of over-payments from the residents and/or families with application to various agencies. • Responsible for assisting residents and/or families with application to various agencies for financial assistance • Maintaining accurate files to support accounting records, which includes resident invoices and associated public agency resident records, census records and all related entries into the computer • Responsible for residents’ trust funds and month end balancing • Responsible for maintaining admission and discharge records as they relate to billing • Attend committee meetings as assigned by Administrator • Responsible for all aspects of the Medicaid process • Cover the receptionist as needed, and organize receptionist scheduling • Responsible for bank deposits • Process payments for resident health insurance premiums • Notify Medicaid if income changes and other information • Order office supplies and maintenance needs for computer and various office machines. • Ensure that Federal, State, Local and JCAHO standards are maintained to ensure quality of services and resident care • Perform other duties from time to time as directed by the Administrator that may be necessary to accomplish the proper and standard function of the facility
