Suntex Marinas is a high growth real-estate company investing exclusively in niche mixed-use marinas and their related operating platforms. We have acquired, developed, and operated over 40 full-service marinas which include retail spaces, office buildings, resorts, hotels, and restaurants in the United States, the Caribbean, and Mexico for 20 years. The Business Systems Trainer is ultimately responsible for ongoing support, configuration, and implementation of Suntex’ operating systems (current Legacy MMS/reservation platforms and future state Stellar). The top priority of this position is to provide the highest level of internal customer service to promote a culture capable of sustaining a growing enterprise. This position works collaboratively with all users at Suntex to facilitate ease of use, adaptability to Suntex’ business needs, and rapid reporting for the marina teams and Home Office. He/she will work on a variety of different tasks, calling for use of judgement and compliance with standard policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Helpdesk Support
- Responsible for application software (MMS) support desk, including Legacy MMS solutions and Integrated Systems.
- Will strive for one contact resolution.
- Will create and add tickets for all end users that reach out through alternative methods like text, phone and/or Teams.
- Will answer the help desk hotline for support issues.
- Ensures application tickets are followed through to issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Is an escalation resource for application related issues from TI Ops.
- Updates Sr Director of IS on outstanding issues, escalations, and work stoppage application problems across Suntex.
- Will be a on a rotating on-call schedule for weeknights, weekends and holidays.
- System Implementations
- Supports the migration effort in transitioning our marinas from Legacy MMS systems to the Suntex Integrated System solution.
- Primary responsibility is maintaining the item master/item creation and pricing update for the new Integrated System.
- May support multiple implementations at once.
- Works on all aspects of implementations, including but not limited to:
- Data migration
- System configuration
- Training
- Standardized Training Material
- Creates standardized documentation, based on standard Suntex processes and system functionality.
- Provides complementary documentation, when requested.
- System Development
- Works closely with Sr Manager and Sr Director of IS to expand and improve system functionality and processes.
- Tests new features and versions before they are approved for implementation into production environments.
- Work with Sr Dir of IS and Dir of NetSuite to establish security protocols within the Integrated System.
- Assists TI and all Suntex users in training, configuration, and management of additional software used across Suntex, as needed, for a seamless end user experience.
- Serves as a liaison between Suntex end users and external software vendors regarding changes, enhancements, and problems.
- Attend daily/weekly team meetings.
- Support Suntex and the Marinas in any capacity necessary, remotely or in the field.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- This is a work from home position.
- Must be able to travel on occasion.
- Working conditions vary from sitting, sedentary desk work to most of the workday on your feet, if on-site and traveling.
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
