Position: Call Center Agent

Status: Fall River, MA - This position will relocate to our new Corporate Headquarters in Taunton, MA in early 2023.
Summary:
Call Center Agents are responsible for assisting customers with questions or issues regarding their accounts received via phone and/or correspondence. Accountable for assisting the Call Center Manager to achieve sales goals and objectives while ensuring operational excellence is adhered to.
Agents are accountable for providing prompt, courteous and efficient service while introducing Mechanics Cooperative Bank’s products and services via the telephone.
Key Accountabilities for This Position:
- Proper phone skills and etiquette.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through.
- Ability to market and refer products to customers.
- Strong compliance and Federal Regulation knowledge.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of basic computer functions and strong math skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Retail/sales experience or equivalent work experience preferred.
