OVERVIEW

Local Contact Center seeking experienced and reliable call center agents to help with their upcoming promotion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide concise, quality consumer service in a professional, timely and courteous manner
• Accurately take consumer orders, answer questions and provide resolution
• Respond to consumer general information requests, inquiries or concerns
• Minimize consumer wait time and number of abandoned calls
• Work closely with consumer services team to resolve consumer issues
• Assist and/or train consumers to use on-line services
• Enhance consumer relationship through identification of consumer needs/opportunities
• Record and track calls appropriately in database
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal/human relations skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Attentiveness to detail
• Ability and experience in working in a fast-paced and varying environment
• Computer literate with the ability to learn customer service software applications
• Ability to type and operate word processing programs
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to take ownership of consumer issues until resolved
• Must be very dependable and trustworthy

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Desired: Two (2) years of customer service or related field experience
• Typing skills over 40 wpm
• Bilingual is a plus

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Camanche, IA 52730: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
