About the Role:

The Campus Attendant, or "CA” role is a part-time, seasonal position following the academic calendar. CAs help provide laundry service to busy university students across the US, by picking up and delivering bags of laundry on campus. CAs drive a Tide Cleaners truck to campus, where they greet and interact with students while accepting bags of laundry. They are responsible for scanning each bag into our tracker, delivering them to our cleaning facilities, and returning the bags to campus. CAs must ensure the accurate delivery of each bag to the correct student, while maintaining a positive attitude and keeping in constant communication with our operations team.

Responsibilities:

• Engage customers in a friendly manner during laundry drop off and pick up
• Use a scanner to track and take inventory of laundry bags
• Drive a UPS / U-Haul sized company vehicle safely and responsibly to transport laundry
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Communicate clearly and consistently with management team
• Arrive on time and in uniform for all scheduled shifts

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license (no special license required; training provided!)
• Ability to lift / carry bags weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an understanding of the customer experience
• Personable, reliable and organized

Additional Information:

• A drug screen and background check (including a motor vehicle report) are required for this position.
• Our Texas A&M services include both a stationary truck location, where students will visit the truck to pick up their bag, as well as a delivery route, where bags will be dropped off at designated drop spots.
• The truck, where you will begin your shift, lives on campus. You’ll need reliable transportation to and from the home lot. Our cleaning facility is a 15min drive from campus - this trip is made in the Tide vehicle.
