This position is designated as work-from-home with one day per week in our Reston office (typically Wednesday).
Description:
As Capture Manager, you will be a core member of Synergy's Business Development team identifying and successfully capturing strategic opportunities in the areas of Digital Transformation, Emerging Technologies, Cloud Solutions, O&M, and SaaS implementation. The ideal candidate has proven experience driving revenue growth at one or more small to mid-size companies by successfully capturing Full & Open opportunities in Department of Defense of Civilian agencies.
Essential Functions & Duties:
- Identify strategic opportunities where Synergy can be positioned as a prime or a significant teaming partner.
- Develop capture strategy and lead capture for strategic opportunities.
- Assist other capture managers to create a meaningful win strategy if needed.
- Lead agency specific account growth plan in collaboration with the respective Program Directors and Program Managers.
- Grow and manage relationship with Federal customers and teaming partners.
Skills, Qualifications and Certifications of Best Candidates:
- 12+ years of experience in Business Development with a proven track record of winning opportunities for mid-size Government Contractor(s)
- Has significant network of decision makers in the industry.
- Has the ability to guide Program Directors and Program Managers in identifying opportunities within existing accounts.
- Has track record of creating business and winning opportunities in new agencies.
- Proven ability to present account strategies & outlook to C-level executives.
