Salal Credit Union of Seattle, WA is looking to hire a full-time Card Servicing Specialist to provide quality customer service to our internal and external members. This position is eligible to be performed fully remote within the Credit Union's hiring territory. There is a preference for candidates to reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, ID, MO, MT, NH, NJ, OK, OR, PA, TX, or WA. This role will require a schedule of 8:30 am-5:30 pm Pacific time.
Our Card Servicing Specialist will:
- Perform card account maintenance (Credit, Debit, ATM), card ordering, reissues and blocking, payment transactions, monitoring, maintaining and creating reports.
- Process credit, debit and ATM disputes along with fraud claims in compliance with Reg Z, Reg E and Visa Operating Rules and Guidelines.
- Troubleshoot member card issues by utilizing core system and vendor systems. Solve member card issues and proactively prevent similar issues from recurring.
- Perform interest adjustments and corrections, as necessary.
- Perform activities required for captured cards, monitor inactive cards, and work with processor to purge cards from system.
- Assist branches with Instant Issue escalations, balancing questions, expedited card shipping.
- Manage card inventory housed at vendor location, upgrade, replenish as needed.
- Process member balance transfer requests.
Desired qualifications include:
- 2+ years banking or credit union experience
- Experience with loans, loan servicing and/or cards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle high transaction volume with accuracy
