Job description
Peter Pan Seafood is looking for a skilled carpenter to perform various carpentry work in Port Moller, Alaska. We are looking for someone with previous carpentry experience in a professional setting to help with various maintenance and construction projects of the facilities on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient with wood working tools and common hand tools
- Creates and/or dismantle structures
- Builds or dismantles roofing or siding
- Prepares scaffolding as needed to complete projects safely
- Crates machinery for shipment
- Touch-up or do incidental painting after structure repairs
- Operates various types of lift equipment
- Understands and is able to implement safe work procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Our Port Moller plant is located in remote Alaska. Candidates will need to be available to work from May through August on site. You will need to be available to work 7 days per week, approximately 11 hours each day.
