Carrier Sales Representative Job Description

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will develop, establish and maintain relationships with carriers/clients in the truckload marketplace by providing excellent customer service. Have a knack for identifying, sourcing, and procuring new carrier relationships. As well as establish internal relationships within Giltner Logistics to expand your Book of Business. The successful candidate will have great energy and focus, a passion for sales, and a commitment to the growth and success of the company.

Carrier Sales Representative Responsibilities

• Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services

• Must have the ability to mediate deals with transportation providers

• Providing customers with shipping quotes

• Booking orders with carriers

• Assisting to prepare carriers for loads

• Tracking status of loads

• Collaborating with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs

Carrier Sales Representative Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Strong interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask

• Legendary customer service skills
