Our client in the Angleton area is seeking to add a Caseworker to their team. This is a full time in office role at our client's office in Angleton TX.

Duties are as follows:

·Provide Customer Service and serves as the primary contact for prospective and current applicants through the client's programs
·Establish appointments and meet one-on-one with homeowners
·Responsible for data entry and Maintenance of client data using Yardi Software
·Screen the needs and status of the at-risk family or individual for the company to determine housing options and to facilitate access to other needed resources or services
·Screen and select participants and tenants in accordance with policies and regulations
·Keep applicants up to date by sending various notifications
·Complete necessary paperwork for applications
·Perform other duties as required
·Maintain confidence and protect the organization by keeping confidential information concerning Housing Authority business, its clients, and its employees confidential

Requirements:

·Must be dependable and have reliable transportation as this position requires working at multiple locations
·Previous experience working with Yardi Software is a plus
·Previous mortgage, banking, property management, or housing program experience is a plus
·Some knowledge of and experience with strategies and programs geared towards maintaining and expanding affordable housing opportunities
·Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
·Knowledge of and experience with housing income certification process preferred but not required
·Must be willing to submit to a background screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
