Job description
Our Class A CDL Hostler Driver is stationed at our local McKinley paper mill in Port Angeles and is responsible for handling the inbound and outbound freight and garbage trailers in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.
Duties Include:
- Taking inventory of loaded and empty trailers.
- Transporting 53' trailers safely around the mill premises.
- Successfully positioning trailers and backing them into docks for loading and unloading.
- Having effective communication and coordination with the Hermann Brothers dispatch team and paper mill employees.
- Scaling trailers in and out of the mill's computer system.
- Shuttling trailers between the mill and the Hermann Brothers yard for repairs, if needed.

CDL A – Requirements:
- Must have a valid CDL A
- Two years minimum driving experience preferred, but not required.
- Completed Federal DOT application filled out in its entirety.
- Verifiable previous employment of three years and full lifetime work history.
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to get along well with others
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently
