Epping NH CDL Class A Deliver Driver

Due to rapid growth and expansion, Dennis Paper & Food Service is now accepting job applications for Class A Delivery Drivers in our New Hampshire market. Routes depart and return daily from our Epping NH yard location.

Candidates must have a professional appearance, be self-motivated, safety conscious, must have excellent customer service skills and must have the physical stamina to deliver food service products in the heat of summer and the cold of winter.

Our Class A Delivery drivers leave each morning and deliver frozen, refrigerated, and dry food products and cleaning supplies to our customer base of schools, hospitals, hotels and inns, restaurants, and take-outs across the State of Maine and New Hampshire.

Drivers are compensated based upon the number of pieces delivered, miles driven, and number of deliveries. This is a Monday thru Friday position with optional weekend work. Our drivers return home to their families daily.

Minimum pay per day is $266.50. Full route pays an average of $310-$320 dollars per day. Experienced delivery drivers can earn potential gross earnings upwards of $90,000 a year.

A $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS is available paid out equally after 90 days ($2,500) and 1 year of service ($2,500).

Qualified Drivers Must Have the Following:

· Current and valid CDL A Driver’s License

· Minimum one year of driving experience (preferred)

· Excellent customer service skills

· Willing to be a strong member of the team

· Have solid written and oral skills

· Able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check

· Must be able to lift product up to 100 lbs. and lift 10 – 80 lbs. frequently

Daily Duties Include:

· Report to work on or before scheduled time

· Deliver correct product to the correct customers in a timely manner

· Maintain a working relationship with all customers and co-workers

· Report any accidents and/ or damage to Company equipment or Customer product

· Understand and keep an accurate Logbook as required by Federal DOT Regulations

· Travel all routes as scheduled

· Communicate daily with the Transportation Manager

· Act as the last line of defense to ensure that products delivered to our customers are consistent with the policies and procedures as set forth in our Food Safety Plan.
