What does the CDL Trainer do at Swire Coca-Cola, USA?
Swire Coca-Cola, USA takes pride in the training and development of our current employees into CDL drivers. As the CDL Trainer you will train and prepare individuals to attain their CDL Class A and/or B License for our Driver Merchandising positions. The right candidate can effectively teach and coach people, while adhering to state, DOT regulations and Swire Safety policies. The teaching is both classroom theory and behind-the-wheel training curriculum.

Job Details:
You will be attending the CDL instructor course and are required to obtain the certification from 3rd party. There are State and Federal requirements related to individual driving records to qualify as a trainer. Training course costs are covered by Swire Coca-Cola, USA.

Responsibilities:

• Train and prepare candidates to successfully attain CDL-A license
• Ensure active status and compliance toward the FMCSA Training Provider Registry (TPR)
• Compliance with all Federal, State and Company regulatory policies and procedures
• Document and record all training and compliance
• Manage Drivers
• Develop team members through evaluation and training
• Maintain positive customer relationships and resolve customer issues
• Travel to other locations (10%-15%)

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Class A CDL License – Able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
• 2 years CDL class A driving experience
• Preferred 2 years’ experience Behind the Wheel Instructor
• Local delivery experience preferred
• Pallet Jack and Forklift experience
• Computer experience
