Electronics Repair Technician - Greater Austin Metro

uBreakiFix, an official repair partner for Google, Samsung, Verizon and AT&T is growing in the Austin Metro area, and we are looking for repair technicians!

There’s a lot of technical expertise that makes someone a quality repair technician, and any previous experience repairing phones and computers is a bonus. But the trait we’re really looking for is a great attitude.

Our training program is state of the art and will set you up for clear success whether you've repaired before or not.

Compensation includes base pay and a comprehensive commission for all items sold in store, or as a technician performing repairs for our customers in their homes using a fully equipped company van. Our trained technicians beyond their initial experience curve will typically make $14 to $18 per hour, on average. Our highest performers will constantly exceed these rates.

What uBreakiFix Techs Do:

– Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair phones, tablets, Macs, and PCs in store, or in a company provided vehicle

– Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner

– Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards

- Sale of Asurion Home+ program and Accessories

– Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment

– Repair devices in our customer's homes with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor

– Keep track of all devices and inventory

– Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair

– Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store

Basic Qualifications:

- Outstanding customer service skills

- High integrity, honesty, and loyalty

- Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills

- Exceptional organizational skills

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Work well in a team

- Ability to work flexible hours and locations, including weekends and holidays

- High school diploma or GED

Bonus Qualifications:

- A+ Certification

- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)

- Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles

- Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics

- Previous experience working at retail electronics store

- Previous customer service experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,900.00 - $2,800.00 per month
