Job description
Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire Certified Flaggers for the Belle Chasse, La. area. Must be certified. The Flaggers will assist in road repair projects and be responsible for directing cars and machinery.
Pay is $20.62/hour.
Duties:
- Direct traffic around the job site
- Keep workers aware of traffic conditions
- Place warning signs to alert drivers
- Remove signs, cones, and barriers after the job is complete
- Report negligent drivers
Requirements:
- Must be certified.
- Observe safety regulations
- Be willing to work in all weather conditions, especially heat.
- Familiarity with traffic laws
- Physical stamina, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience managing crews, traffic, or job sites
- High school diploma or GED certificate
