Excelsior Family Medicine is an established clinic of 10 providers working in a cross-disciplinary team to address client needs. Our dedicated providers encourage clients to engage in mental and physical health, and we are proud to support this with the right care at the right time.

Excelsior Family Medicine is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at our N. Nevada St. clinic. The Medical Assistant will assist the care providers in collecting medical and other information; proactively anticipating the needs of the providers by thinking critically and holistically about each patient; working together as a flexible team for the betterment of each other and the patients. The ideal candidate will be primarily working with our psychiatric medication management providers giving patient support with basic vitals, prescription management, authorizations, chart preps, and patient phone calls. Responds to the needs of the job professionally.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Minimum of 1-year experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital. Lifespan experience is preferred.
• Active licensure as a Certified Medical Assistant certified through the Washington State Department of Health
• Ability to be detail-oriented and possess solid critical thinking skills
• Ability to deliver exceptional patient support
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Minimum 21 years of age.
