Job description
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA
Performs component of occupational therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with practices of occupational therapy. Assist patients in achieving his/her maximum functional performance while learning to live within his/her capabilities. Record patient’s responses to treatment and report treatment outcomes to the Occupational Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience desired.
