Description of Employment:

• Perform DOT / STATE Inspections on customer and company vehicles
• Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Utilizing computer-based diagnostics, troubleshoot engine and equipment failures
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble components as necessary
• Complete a multi-point vehicle inspection in accordance with preventative maintenance worksheets
• Coordinate with supervisor / service writer for all assigned duties of work regarding all parts and time for job order
• Perform preventative maintenance on customer units

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified DOT / State Inspector
• Available to work a minimum of 40hrs per week
• Eaton Certification and Training
• Allison Certification and Training
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and physical exam
• Possess a valid driver’s license, a CDL Class A or B is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Own set of tools to perform vehicle repairs

Helpful Skills:

• Navistar training / experience
• ASE certifications
• Cummins/OEM Manufacturer Certifications
• Understanding of electrical systems
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and air brake systems
• Bilingual ability (written and spoken English and Spanish)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
