CLARK Material Handling Company, a global leader in the forklift & material handling industry is seeking an Assistant to the Product Director. This position will be located in the Headquarters Office in Dallas, TX area.

This position will be the assistant to the Product Director. This position will work closely with the Product Director to plan and develop product strategies aligned with CLARK overall growth strategy. Work with project teams to track results and create reports for management review.

The Channel Program Analyst, will be a key coordinator of the Program Director group that will be responsible to assist regional & global functions in the development of product and product strategies.

Essential Functions:

· Project management

• Create a new development project with deep analysis of current produt and market to advise on how to improve cost, sales, and margins
• Manage a development projects to ensure project is on target, meeting quality, cost and delivery goals.
• Ensure finished new products of projects are sold as planned (margin & volume) and analyze sales performance to ensure profitability and advise of corrective actions plans needed with sales and marketing.

oProgram management

o Coordinate and assist relevant functions (market research, sales promotion, R&D, manufacturing and purchasing) to derive meaningful input to project and converge on one voice.

o Define target cost & investment and monitor/manage the evolution.

o Investigate cost saving opportunities and support for implementation.

o Monitor TDC (Total Delivered Cost) and guide functions to implement best practices across plants.

· Product strategy

o Envision future product & product concept answering to regional / global market needs and establish mid & long term product plan for the sustainable company growth.

o Derive insights and direction for product strategy through in-depth data analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelors degree in engineering, economics, business analytics or similar field

· Proven experience in product planning, product development and project management in forklift or similar industry.

· Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, outstanding project and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively.

· Proactive, open minded, self-disciplined and ability to deal well with conflict, change or unexpected events and complexity.

· Thrives on change and constantly looking for new ways of doing things that improve on the status quo.

· High standards and sense of integrity, one who makes and keeps commitments

· Ability to create a solid and well-thought-out document with proficient knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
