Location: Warrendale, PA or Butler, PA - must commute to office
Reports to: Manager of Quality Assurance

Position Summary:

Our incredibly amazing team has the opportunity and responsibility to make a difference every day. As we seek to add to our team, we are looking for talented communication professionals and amazing problem solvers who can enthusiastically answer customer inquiries relating to smart home security, automation products and services via online chat.
Supporting these interactions, you’ll process questions that range from billing, technical troubleshooting, and an array of general support questions, leaving your customers on every occasion with a positive, memorable experience.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Make it easy for customers to work with us, respond quickly through live chat and provide courteous and professional customer service. Take ownership of issues and do your best to resolve them the first time, every time.
  • Be an advocate for safety. Educate customers on products and services, make recommendations on the right solutions for their needs and processing the sale.
  • Continue to learn as you venture along your career path, equipping yourself with knowledge to support an ever-changing industry that is fueled by technology.
What You'll Need:
  • Proficiency with live chat computer programs and navigating multiple resources is crucial for your success as a chat agent. Proficient writing and excellent typing skills (60+ wpm) is also essential.
  • Patience and strong customer service skills are helpful, as you deal with a wide range of issues and attitudes, both good and bad. This type of role demands personable communicators who enjoy helping others and love to solve problems.
  • Exhibit excellent skills and knowledge to retrieve information of varying complexities within company applications to update records and obtain information. Demonstrate an eagerness to explore and learn new skills.
  • Feeling comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment will benefit you, coupled with natural ability to communicate effectively with multiple customers via chat and that may transition to verbal interactions.
