A Nylon Manufacturer located in North Pensacola is in need of a full-time Chemical Lab Tech to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for opportunities to learn and grow with a company that has strong expansion plans and to build a career within the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Accurately conducting many diverse instrumental and wet chemical analyses, often simultaneously
• Operating controlled lab instruments
• Responsible for computing data entry

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a science field.
• Industrial synthetic laboratory experience is preferred.
• The ability to work efficiently with other lab and manufacturing personnel.
• Good oral and written communication skills, proven ability to learn and take direction, strong math skills, and proficiency in use of computer systems.
• Detail oriented and able to take initiative to do what is needed
• Hard working and reliable
• Able to work 12 hour shifts that rotate between overnight and daytime hours

• This position is full-time and pays $20.00/hr
• These positions are 12 hour shifts and will rotate between overnight and daytime hours. Must be able to work some weekend and overtime as needed.
