STRUCTURAL/MISCELLANEOUS STEEL ESTIMATOR

Fabricated Products is currently searching for an experienced full-time estimator for structural and miscellaneous steel. Please see preferred requirements below.

Structural and miscellaneous steel estimator.

(5) years’ experience including estimating field erection.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Preparing estimates on new projects and estimates on change orders to existing contracts.
• Read and interpret job bid instructions, specifications, and drawings.
• Prepare take off of materials, estimate all necessary labor, materials, buyout items and equipment costs to prepare a thorough estimate.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Communicate with Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Detailers, Owners, etc.
• Review project contracts.
• Computer estimating skills (Excel) a plus.

Project examples:

• Schools
• Warehouses/ Tilt wall buildings
• Retail and shopping centers
• Industrial structures, stairs and rails
• Commercial structures, stairs and rails

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Construction Estimating: 5 years (Preferred)
