The Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery is seeking a full-time surgeon for a leadership role in the Division as a Professor of Clinical-X Series or the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series at the Associate or Full Professor Level. We expect the successful candidate to have clinical activity, as well as research activity with an interest in basic/translational discovery or health services research and conduct teaching activities. The candidate is expected to have an emphasis on a trajectory towards obtaining extramural funding and career development as a surgeon-scientist.

The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the Clinical-X Series or the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Faculty rank and series will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Candidates should have an MD or MD/ PhD with board certification/ eligibility.
